Operation: Helping America Feeding Veterans and Homeless Truck
Interior Construction, Window Insulation, Rear Door with Wall
Every day there are thousands of Veterans who go hungry.
Operation Helping America, Inc. provides food, clothes, healing, and hope to America's Heroes.
To date we have served over 500 meals, to our Veterans in Nevada.
After speaking with our veterans, we realized that this issue is much bigger than just Nevada. So, we have decided to build a Food Truck to take our project from Nevada across America to support veterans, homeless population, and animals.
We are already working with partners to identify pre-planned locations to feed 100 people a day for five days a week. However, with your generous support we will not need to put a limit on the individuals we serve.
Originally, we considered to purchase a new food truck. However, after research, we have found a great, gently used, Step Van (UPS Truck).
A new food truck would have cost us over $100,000. However, by building our own food truck, we are estimating the cost at $27,000. The UPS truck is estimated at $7,600, and the rest of the funds will be used to install windows, insulate walls and ceiling, and run wires for power.
For less than HALF the cost of a new food truck, Operation Helping America, Inc. will be able to use the rest of our donations to directly support our veteran and homeless communities.
Every donation provides hope and healing to our heroes who have already given so much.
Thank you so much for generously supporting our mission to build a kinder world through Operation Helping America!
